Registered Nurse,  Community Māori Mental Health and Addiction Services

Whītiki Maurea Māori Mental Health and Addictions Services, Waitemata DHB District Mental Health Services Group provides a range of services to tangata whai i te ora Māori who live in the Waitemata catchment area.

 

Moko is the clinical team within Whītiki Maurea  and we provide clinical treatment in mental health and addictions with a Māori kaupapa (cultural values and concepts) approach.

 

We are looking for an experienced, committed and enthusiastic registered nurse to join our multidisciplinary team, to work alongside Taurawhiri (cultural advisors).

 

We value a positive attitude, flexibility, strong clinical and administrative skills,  and a proven ability to form positive relationships within the team, tangata whai i te ora, whānau, and community networks. 

 

Our service is culturally and clinically guided with evidence based best practice, and a passion for Te Reo me ōna Tikanga.

 

Applicants will promote partnership, transparency and participation with tangata whai i te ora and whanau and the ability to  conduct assessments and planning processes that are informed by a Māori world view. We will provide a stimulating and supportive working environment.

 

A current Annual Practising Certificate and a full, clean NZ Drivers licence is a requirement to apply for the position.
